Pleasant Surprise from the Club

My hubby and I received our membership cards and gifts today, so we have two of everything!

Part of me thought what a nice idea it was to celebrate the centenary in this way, but another (horrible) side of me thought how much it must have cost the club and we could probably have bought another player with the money!

I guess if you own and run a football club you can’t do right for doing wrong. The thought was a good one!

Its utter tat. Just how much have the club wasted on sending out this rubbish? Seriously.

Must have sent out 50,000 of these now. Postage alone would run up £150,000. Add in the crap and it must be close to a quarter of million. Could have signed a better keeper than Casilla for that.

Kebab you've just made my night - Dont know why but I had this strange thought that someone would somehow bring Casilla into this thread.

Got to admit though the box is rather nice!

Just noticed - I'm going to wear my 1 star and the polyester centenary scarf with pride!

The box is lovely. Ive had it for a couple of weeks and the box sits on the dining room chair. The contents of the box are still sat in the box. I momentarily shared a video of the musical bottle opener with my non leeds fans and all they did was laugh at it.

Fuggetaboutit, it’s Orta’s fault

Love the bottle opener got leathered first Saturday I had it, had to open every bottle of beer in the house,

Understandable but you did have to drink everyone! 😉

Good that the club did something for st holders and members. Whatever they offered someone won’t like it.
