You'll need to make CL to get that star player. From what I've seen so far you'll get it but long way to go yet.

I think we have to be in for Jadon Sancho next summer. He's a top talent and already showing very good end product for Dortmund. Looks good for England, too.

A quality midfielder is a must - probably two as I think we all suspect Pogba will be gone next year. In terms of midfielders who can score and create, two spring to mind; Bruno Fernandes, who we all know about, and one of my favourites, Donny van de Beek.

Hopefully Gomes can kick on, too. We need a top deep lying player in midfield though.

Yes, I thought it was going to be Sanchez, a real disappointment. I don't know if Gomez can be or not, haven't seen enough and I'm not a good enough judge on young players to know who will make it. I've been wrong often.

United are currently 5 forward players short of a starting xi.

Only Pogba has remotely indicated he is united quality - although I am being very unfair on mata who I only exclude on the grounds that the club seems to.

Ray, who currently playing could be compared to Roy Keane?

Hippo, why shouldn't people get excited by young prospects? Should they only be excited by buying expensive players who have already made it? As that hasn't worked out well recently either.

If you think your forwards are "sorted" Max, then there really is no hope for United.
