On Thursday Wolves travel out to Italy to face Torino in the Europa League qualifying playoff round 1st leg. Despite comfortably defeating Crusaders and Pyunic in the earlier rounds, Nuno and the players will be under no illusion as to the quality of the opposition for this game.
Turin have progressed in the competition by beating Debreceni VSC 3-0 & 4-1 (7-1 agg) and Shakhtyor Soligorsk 5-0 & 1-1 (6-1 agg).
Playing in Serie A, historically Torino are one of the most successful clubs in Italy however, like Wolves, their glory years are behind them, the last time they won the league title being 1976.
In the last 3 seasons Torino have finished 9th, 9th and 7th in the table respectively.
Wolves have been allocated just under 1,500 tickets for the game all of which are sold. The stadium capacity is 28,000 and the average home attendance is around 20,000.
Whether a team that finished 7th in the Premier League is better than a team that finished 7th in Serie A is debatable, but with Wolves penchant for playing their best football and gaining good results against the better teams that play open football, a win for the visitors is a real possibility.
One Wolves player who knows more about Italian defences than anyone else is Patrick Cutrone. The last time that the striker faced Torino was on April 28th when leading the line for AC Milan. The game was won 2-0 by Torino.
The game will be broadcast live on Premier Sports

Just watched the Preston game, and then the rest of the goals. Impressed with Preston. Two excellent goals from Cav - and Fulham look good. Leeds are also going well, although they had to wait to score the only goal, a great low cross from Costa, which was a tap in for the scorer.
Wet Bum were sh!te, and the referee felt so sorry for them he gave a dubious penalty 5 minutes from the end.

Looks like Cavaleiro is having his own goal of the season competition, his first today was better than his goal the other night

Blimey, Cav has matched his total for last season already, nice work. Hope we don't regret letting him go.

We shouldn't miss him unless we get a few injuries, Cutrone is surely a better all round player though we will have to see what Neto offers in tougher games but he looks promising thus far.
