I expect United to win all home games we play. I have never gone to OT expecting to lose.

However, fans and players underestimating Premier League clubs such as Palace at home has been part of our regression in recent years.

But I think Ole likes Pogba playing there and using him as a quarterback spraying passes to the pacey forwards

And if he continues to do this he will likely fail.

What I should have added to this is that against teams that sit deep it is pointless having Pogba acting as a QB to spray out passes to the speedsters as they don't have the space to use their advantage.

Pogba was most effective against Wolves when he was driving towards their box.

Id give Gomes a go in that 10 position

I wish Gomes would start but OGS doesn't seem to trust him as much as we like.

I think Pereira comes back in for James, and we will see both James and Greenwood in the 2nd half. Lingard retains his place.

I think that a lot of us would like to see Gomes in there. I do think that he has something in terms of his trickery and link play that no-one else in the squad offers. I really think that he could 'gel' the attacking players together. But perhaps we are asking too much of such a young lad. But my worry is that we don't play him and risk losing him.

I’d play James ahead of Lingard for this one. I know Palace will probably pack the defence and sit deep but he only needs a slither of space to accelerate. If nothing else, he’ll win us free kicks in dangerous areas. I can see the argument for starting Mata and it would be nice to see Gomes, but Lingard is on the bench for me tomorrow.
