https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/no-deal-brexit-rubbish-north-south-landfill-eu-boris-johnson-a9076051.html

I’m good with that. Send it to the Brexit voting areas, it’s their rubbish now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are such a bigoted moron.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not dealing with Brexiters rubbish.

They own it. They can deal with it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As usual you’re talking out of your arrse. Do you think there’s a big line in the middle of the country and people on one side voted L and on the other voted R?

I live, mostly, in Yorkshire. My wife and I voted Remain, as did every single one of our (large group of) friends up here. And everyone my wife works with. In fact I don’t think I know a single Brexiteer up here. The people I know that voted Brexit include my parents, my best mates parents and some of my old school pals. You know where they all live? London.

Stop looking at everything in such black and white terms. You live here you’re a saint. You live there you’re a fascist. You voted this you’re alright, you voted that you’re scuuum. It’s extremist crap. Also, this is a relatively obscure sports forum - spitting bile at everyone on here all day solves nothing. Try talking about football instead and stop insulting all and sundry with your bigoted generalisations.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Erm. What bile?

All the personal attacks are aimed at me.

And who said I was trying to solve anything. Brexshit isn’t my problem to solve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Come on Sizz. You were booted off the site for the way you discussed this subject, and are still banned from the politics thread. Now you’re going at it in a watered down way on other threads like this. Send all the rubbish up north to the Brexiters? Bit pathetic. If Brexit isn’t your problem to solve why d’you keep going on about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool and Manchester had huge remain votes.

Outside London, the South East and south west were strong leave areas....not just Wales and Midlands and north.

Fine, I concede that I don’t deal with betrayal well, which is ultimately what this is about, and I want to see a reckoning.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s not about betrayal, it’s about delusion. Cameron was deluded when he called the thing. He did it for political gain, but it turned into political suicide and screwed everyone in the process. The whole thing was rushed, the people were deluded with misinformation coming from both sides. The wider public were not well informed enough to be voting on a matter of such importance and consequence, but I don’t subscribe to the view that everyone that voted Brexit is a racist, that’s just ridiculous. There will be extremism and bigotry on both sides, but the majority of people that voted will have done so in good faith, based on the information fed to them - which we know was not factual. Many people - on both sides - were duped.

There is nothing to be gained by being so vitriolic about it, or hoping for a ‘reckoning’. Presumably that means some sort of worst case scenario where it all goes spectacularly badly. But the ones who will really suffe as a result of that are ordinary families and businesses; which is not justifiable just to have an ‘I told you so moment’. As a Remainer I’ve accepted that it will go ahead, and hope it can be as smooth and non disruptive as possible, and that all these predictions about economic crashes and no food or medicine have as much basis as Boris’s £350m a week for the NHS claims. There will be media scaremongering on both sides, rarely do these things come to pass - we are a wealthy country in the 21st century.

The biggest annoyance for me is how much political time and public money have been poured into this utter sheite show that’s dominated our national landscape the last 3 years, when there are so many other issues in the country that those resources could’ve been channeled into.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well like Bales, you’re obviously more forgiving than me.

I can only view this through the prism of revenge.

Yes I think we’re all aware of that thanks.

just goes to show a leopard never changes its spots! sizzle is so indoctrinated in his way of thinking, he is incapable of either understanding others viewpoints or having empathy with a persons right to disagree with his views.

He accuses others of being racist and then castigates Brexiteers for all sorts of things, when he doesn’t really know them or their circumstances.

Now that is in my opinion an inverted sort of racism and I very much doubt if he has any social life or real friends, except of course those that exist in his virtual World

Your middle name is bile sizzle! Because that is all you seem to be able to spout on here.

Rarely, if ever, do you post a coherent and structured argument on anything. If you don’t agree with a comment, the poster is instantly racist, fascist and right wing

Well they usually are.

And I have plenty of friends thanks, very few who are Brexiters though, they’re simply not the sort of people I want to waste any time with.

Anyway G7 time.

Let’s all enjoy the UK fawning over Donald Trump like a desperate little poodle.

Welcome to the fascist state.

Nothing fascist about it, it is perfectly legal if somewhat contentious.

MP’s have already bug**red democracy, however they still have time to debate this before we leave. Corbyn talking about “smash and grab on democracy” is hypocrisy at its best.
