I think this is our most technical team for matches that require ball possession and goal threat (Provided none below are sold before Sept 2nd).
................Kane
.......Son Eriksen Lucas
.......Ndombele Lo Celso
.Rose Vertonghen Alders Aurier
..................Lloris
This team might not be good enough to win the title but it should be good enough to win Carabao or FA Cup whilst getting out of the Group stages in the Champions League.
Over to you Poch...
Our Best and Most Technical XI

Creativity without Eriksen is zero. Is Lo Celso going to replace Eriksen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have no idea if Lo Celso is good enough to replace Eriksen but if he leaves somebodys going to have to step up and he will have his chance.
You only have to look at our league form xmas onwards (after Eriksen decided to down tools) to see the lack of creativity in the squad.
On the plus side if (big if) Lamela can stay fit I think we will score more goals from set pieces than we have for a while.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ndombele and Lo Celso might provide some assists from midfield. Poch just needs to find best formation.

I'll hope I'm not wrong but a few people will be surprised at Lo Celso's ability. Unlike Lamela he plays centrally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He can also play with both feet.... Far better player. He's also very good from set pieces.

Son has to be in our starting eleven as things stand. Comfortably better than Dele, better than Lucas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
agreed. Some people still refuse to give Son credit. Not sure why. He scores with both feet, has pace and can beat a man. Scored 20 goals in a season for us. Not sure what else he needs to do for approval??
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All players have good and bad games but when Son has a stinker he looks like he's never played the game before. We all know he can be brilliant but its his lack of consistency that makes some folk question his starting place.
Due to his stupid suspension he's had an extra long summer break so he should be bang up for it on Sunday (if selected).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I get this point, but I think it's exaggerated. Son will have a streak of eight games when he's World Class, and then when he plays OK or even just above average, it's so far from his World Class performances that people lazily say he's woeful.

He was woeful at the end of last season including the cl final unfortunately.

Depends where he's played.
When he was played up top when Kane was injured, he was outstanding.
When (an unfit) Kane returned Son was pushed over to the left and spent most of the time tracking back and played a lot deeper due to us having no midfield.

problem is its so easy to single out Son in that scenario because when he is on it that is what can get us over the line to win big if he was more consistent.
players like Dele Alli need huge seasons, especially if Eriksen leaves.

All of our players need big season. It is pretty shameful really that this set of very talented players, still has not won a bean.

I'm starting to wonder if Dele (like Lamela) is going to have his career wrecked by injuries?
He's incredibly young to be out of action so often.
