Bolton Wanderers v Ipswich Town

A more familiar fixture today as Bolton play Ipswich at the unibol. For 6 of the last 7 seasons this has been a championship fixture, unfortunately after both teams were relegated this is now a league one fixture. 4 draws and 2 Bolton defeats are the recent history between the sides. Bolton haven't won at home v Ipswich since that day in 2002 when fredi bobic scored a hat trick. Ipswich have made a decent start and are already in the play off positions. Their fans seem to be enjoying the break from constant championship struggles. Bolton on minus 11 with more points deductions to come are going the other way. An interim period now after the Phil Parkinson era ended in the week. Between owners too. The takeover is imminent again. Been there worn the teashirt with that one though. Surely football ventures will take over this week or will it be before Christmas? What will be will be. Jimmy Phillips takes over as caretaker manager for his third stint. Team news. Out are josh earl, Dennis politic, liam Edwards and Connor hall. Ben Alnwick can we call him a missing person yet? After having to postpone the midweek game against Doncaster expecting an unchanged side as we simply haven't got anything else. It is what it is.

Nothing all day then all these statements. Can't cope. Shame about bury, was hoping the game which would have been a week on Sunday would have been a celebration.

I would like to thank FVCL for their faith in our club. Without them, we would not be in business today. I know some of the members of our small forum were frustrated with events and delays during the process and not without good cause. However, it would seem that FVCL were not to blame. On the contrary, they were patient and put up with some despicable tactics from that cretin Anderson who from reading the latest articles put up barriers and stood in the way of all efforts to get the deal over the line until he got his own way.

All I can say is good riddance to bad rubbish.

The dawn of a new era for us.
Debbie Jevans now needs to pull out all the stops for Bury and show football the EFL is ready for change and intent on following it through.
