Bournemouth v City

Lovely part of the world the south coast
Watching the world go by in Poole Quay before the short trip to Bournemouth

Usually a happy hunting ground for us down here and anything less than 3 points would be very disappointing as we need to keep close tabs on the unbeaten dippers

Other than the usual Mendy out,I think just John Stones & Sane are unavailable
Pep has a few selection problems to decide with Fernandinho/Rodri in the tactical fouling role,SilvaB/Mahrez opposite side to Raheem and Aguero/Jesus up top all warranting starts

A stab in the dark I’ll guess we start

Ederson
Walker Otamendi Laporte Zinchenko
DeBruyne Rodri D Silva
Mahrez Jesus Sterling

The weak Bench
Bravo Cancelo Fernandinho Aguero Gundogan Bernardo Foden

Who 'handled' the ball in any of our recent games?

If your armpit can be offside, can you therefore score with it?

Fancy Bournemouth to get something out of this game.
2-2.

And this one

"Manchester City are unbeaten in all 14 meetings with Bournemouth and have won their eight Premier League fixtures by an aggregate score of 25-3."

Bournemouth should really have scored 3 in that half.

city shafted for a penalty by VAR there . Scousers say they arent being helped by VAR but its certainly keeping city at bay.

I was amazed at that - it looked just like the situation VAR was supposed to sort out. Clear foul which you could see the ref missed. I'm just delighted out goals all stood.

They had their fair share of fortune, Walker could easily have been sent of in the first 20 minutes, and Bournemouth could, and probably should have scored 3 in that game, so shouldn't really be any complaining.😀

VAR 'missed' that kick on Sterlings' calf.

We were done out of 2 pens there.

Not really. If Walker gets booked for the first one the course of the game changes and the second one doesn't happen.

Best team won. Done out of one stonewall pen and the one on Sterling looked suss.

One wonders what the real purpose of VAR is.
