What is wrong with Spurs?

I was replying to your comment about them going backwards after spending £130m. Don’t get upset because I pointed out it was stupid to make that claim after three games when not all their signings have played.

I said seem to have gone backwards. Do you understand what using that word does in a sentence? It means I’m not making an absolute statement you utter shambles - I’m saying that on the face of it, so far this season, despite getting in Ndombele as an example, they look worse.

They LOOK a shambles. Not they ARE a shambles. Right now they do. The question is being posed in the knowledge that it’s the beginning of the season - but even this early, it seems (note the word seems) that things aren’t quite right. That’s why there loads of articles from spurs fans saying the same thing

An example of an absolute statement would be - Mason the King Greenwood is an utter cant.

But they don’t look completely different, that’s the point. The concern is that this has been ongoing with Spurs for a long time.

Just stop putting words in my mouth then. Again - I’ve not said that there weren’t issues last season. Let me ask the same question a different way then, what in your opinion is causing spurs to be ‘pretty shiiiiit’ as you put it? I’m sure you wouldn’t say they’ve always been that way

We had major issues last season that needed to be addressed and that was never going to happen over night. That's the problem. It's pretty obvious.
