Poch beginning to believe his own hype. Maybe thinking too far ahead than the one game.

Totally agree....Play your best team and shout at them so they run about and press. Lately he sits in the dug out cross legged and watches for 70 mins. The team seems to be doing the same.

If you believe the press and Eriksen isnt leaving this week It'll be interesting to see what he does re trying to get Sonny, Lamela, Moura, Eriksen, Dele & LoCelso into 3 positions behind Kane

As for this Jan situation... what a joke ! If ever a player deserved a managers trust & been a model pro its him. Sounds like Poch throwing his weight around. Seems like he always manages to fall out with someone that hurts the team.... Last year it was Toby for a spell. Are the club looking for a reason to offload him having not sold Toby this summer while they can still get something for him ??? Last year & 32 years old..... Once again another contractual mess...... NEW ARSENAL

If Eriksen goes we need to line up the following team as long as possible .A good solid MF and good forward options.
Back four is questionable as Aurier is a crock and Sanchez seems to get the nod before Verts .

The knives are out for Poch 3 games in, ridiculous.

i think because of how we have slowly declined and lost identity is pretty worrying and a lot is on the manager. But things will only be worse when he goes.

lot needs to change in terms of tactics. the passing round the back is ridiculous. allows good teams to press you high up the pitch and allows weaker sides to get in shape and find you easy to play against. when you have lloris, sanchez, sissoko and lamela players who give away the ball for fun, you cannot attempt this passing football.

our full backs need to start narrowing the gap defensively between them and the CBs. The midfield need to be a lot better on the ball(not helped by chosen personnel). Once Lo Celso and Ndombele are intregated in the side im confident things will pick up, players like them we massively missed at the weekend.

Im a fan of Winks but he's not had a great start to the season and Sissoko and Lamela shouldnt be anywhere near the starting side when others are available.

It's funny how every summer, fans say "Lamela has had enough chances, love the guy but he needs to leave if Spurs are going to kick on."

And every season, there he is in and around the starting lineup whenever he's fit.

This is the frustration with Pochettino. He clearly has his principles, which is great and all since it weeds out unprofessionalism and promotes a team-first ethic... but sometimes it also means players with a great work ethic but way less talent get too many chances.

I appreciate the situation with Eriksen, and Lo Celso's fitness (or lack thereof), are contributing factors, but I can't imagine any other club would've given so much leeway to a player like Lamela who is almost never fit and is clearly not the required level even when he is.

Sometimes it does feel like Pochettino's stubborn adherence to his principles effectively means cutting off his nose to spite his face.
