Pochettino

I think we can safely say this will be Pochettino’s last season at the club. There is even a big possibility he might walk at some point during the season. Something is not right at Spurs and hasn’t been for 8 months. The general atmosphere, attitude of the players and Poch himself is very telling: I said years ago the transfer policy of Levy/Spurs will eventually cause a huge issue and I was spot on.

There is only so much you can take of uncertainty every single season we start a campaign. The signings were left far to late AGAIN and like I predicted, we are going to get rid of Eriksen and not really strengthen. Lo Celso is not strengthening on Eriksen, he is replacing an established star. We needed 2 quality players for Eriksen and Levy has failed AGAIN. Once again, negative net spend. Once Eriksen goes, we have spent nothing. I am sick of Levy and ENIC.

The CL run last year totally papered over the cracks on what was an average season with a horrendous amount of losses in the league, it was unacceptable. Thank our lucky stars the likes of Arsenal, United and Chelsea are probably even worse, so I think we will still get top 4 not on merit, but because I believe those 3 will f** up just as much, if not more than us throughout the season.

I’m annoyed at Pochettino for his selections to, so my blame isn’t just focused on Levy, but I think Pochettino’s hands are tied. I think he wanted a settled squad with everything sorted before the season started and he hasn’t got that. Depressing really, but a few of us have been saying for ages, if we didn’t win anything soon, this team will eventually dismantle with nothing to their name.

Maybe it’s time for Pochettino to walk, as it doesn’t look like it’s getting better anytime soon. 8 months we have been playing like this. Not that I would want him to go, but I wouldn’t blame him. Looks like another season plotless AGAIN.

I think Poch has earnt the right to try and see us through this bad patch of form. But he is not exempt form criticism whatsoever.

No manager earns any right at all. If they don`t get results, they get sacked. Ranieri won the league with Leicester, their formed slumped, he lost his job. Chelsea have upteen managers that have won the Prem, and have lost their jobs. Wenger won titles, he lost his job. Poch has won SFA so why should he keep his with a run of form that if it carries on will have Spurs fighting a relegation battle not a top four battle.

Some utterly mind bogglingly thick and uninformed opinions on this thread; I’m almost embarrassed to be a Spurs fan at times.

Ace, we all have our opinions and you have to respect them, and not try to think you know better than others. I have watched the performances, you must have watched the performances. I was at WHL on Saturday, and that was a performance that Christian Gross could have owned. And this sort of rubbish has been served up for months. I am not just going sit by and say everything is wonderful and we have to give Poch time, when I can it is all rapidly disintegrating. You may be happy, but I can assure you that to a man everybody sitting around me at the weekend were distinctly questioning the manager and his team selections and his tactics. There were some very disgruntled supporters at WHL at the weekend I can assure you.

Our poor form coincided with selling Dembele

Faack me son!

Just got back from few days away in Leeds, after jammily getting a ticket to Headingley and watching Ben Stokes, solely defy the Aussies to keep the ashes alive, to find the faithfuls of ja606 Spurs board at each other's throat. Never a dull moment here

ffs, anyone here would think Spurs are bottom of the league 4 points adrift

Some fans have surrendered already and given up on top 4

On the basis of 1 game this season and few defeats last season when we actually did all round well. Top 4 plus CL final. Like that is not some kind of achievement?

We lost 13 times last year and yet people forget we played 2/3 of the league with quite a few KEY players out.
Both us and United had by a long shot the most injuries last year, and yet we finished in top 4 and CL final. United didn't. That tells you how well Spurs did

We need to back off a bit of this drama nonsense where 1 result and we want a new manager

It’s an absolute mess down there on and off the pitch, but this article is far too premature
