How Do We Fix This?

I missed the game on Sunday, fortunately, due to travels, but having read various match reports it seems that once again, we were awful.

When last did we put a good 90 minutes of football together?

Its an absolute mess at the moment, the whole thing. On and off the pitch.......... Off the back of our most productive transfer window for years.

So... you are Poch / Levy.... what are the 3 things you would do to sort out the current debarcle?

Chronic - they got an early goal route one like Aston Villa then sat back for the majority of the game like Villa allowing us to play in front of them with all the usual very slow tempo - side to side bollox - we did however have a nail on penalty which the Ref & VAR in their wisdom decided not to give however even when Eriksen came on we could not break them down we were shiite !!

Poch has only been any good when he had a peak Dembele, and a back four set in stone Walker, Toby, Verts and Rose. As soon as they started to get older, and two left, he now doesn`t have a clue ow to rectify it.

He tried rotating the full backs last season, that was a complete failure, he now does not know his best central defensive pairing. And as much as I like Verts, he is one of the best we have had, it is only a short term solution bringing him back to partner Toby. Both will probably be gone this time next season.

I mean we all know how good he was if he didn`t have his set in stone team in place, make or two changes and invariably Spurs lost. He failed in so many semi-finals and finals, when push come to shove he couldn`t get a very talented set of players to win a bean.

Spurs will survive and move on when he is gone. I thank him for getting Spurs to four successive CLs, but that is all he will have on his CVs, no trophies.

Need to get real fellas, he isn`t doing it now, and it has been rapidly going downhill for a while. Need to cut our losses whilst we are still afloat. Time for a change.

If the last fifteen PL games were a League Table, we'd be 18th. That's shocking and worrying!

sandy.... poch has got loads of credit in the bank... but if this nonsense continues (our form for the last 6 months), then he will be under pressure, and rightly so.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He had lots of credit two seasons ago mate, since then he he has started to blow it in spades. Remember the FA Cup semi against United when he had both Lloris and Toby sitting on the bench. The CL Final when he left out Moura, he really has dropped some serious clangers. His time is up, and if relegation form for the past six months don`t start alarm bells ringing, I don`t know what will. I mean getting outfoxed by Bruce at the weekend should have been the final nail in the coffin.

Edbo, I have been trying to point out the form for quite a few months mate, but am getting jumped on for digging out the manager. Form is totally shocking, and isn`t liable to improve any time soon, especially with the away fixtures we have.

Whatever your views on Poch are there is no denying that our Prem form from xmas onwards has been more Christian Gross than Bill Nicholson.

Stumbling over the line to make 4th and reaching the cl final masked our problems. I would say both collectively and individually our squad is hopelessly out of form and Poch carries the can for that.

Levy's done his bit and delivered the players Poch wants. He's not going to sack him any time soon.

For me, Poch should be looking at:

1. Playing his best XI regardless what's going on behind the scenes. Winning games will do a lot more for morale than benching players on principle.

2. Switching things up - we're so predictable now even Steve Bruce figured it out.

3. Be humble. The spiky interviews in preseason particularly gave the impression that he felt owed something. Maybe he was/is, but no-one is bigger than the club.

How do we fix this?

Pick your strongest starting XI, don`t sell your best players, don`t show favouritism to certain players (Kane) etc etc
