So you don`t want Toby and Verts back as a partnership then. I thought the defence I picked with Dier in front looked pretty solid. Rose is basically finished as a top player, cannot defend now, and doesn`t do much up the other end of the pitch. Davies is more steady, prefer him as it stands. Right back is a problem. Cannot b having Winks anymore, sideways and backwards at snails pace isn`t for me.

Well we got overrun by City, so what`s different. I have Spurs down as losing 3-0 whatever team we put out anyway. Form is carp, and aint being turned around any time soon in my book.

I usually look forward to the NLD, but have very little interest in this one, because I know 100 per cent it will be another defeat. Form cannot just be turned on like a tap, and Spurs even when they are on form, never turn up at the Emirates.

I can see more meltdown on the board come Sunday evening.

Apparently is apparently still injured based on the assumption that he was not called up by France.

I'm watching Kane at the moment.

I hoped his 2 goals against Villa would get him back in the zone but I haven't seen much evidence since. Poor service as an excuse will get you so far but sometimes you have to work a bit harder to get it.

Remember when he used to pick the ball up half way inside our opponents half, turn and run at the defence, then bend the ball round the keeper from the edge of the box.

That ability to grab a game by the bollox and force his will upon it seems to be missing these days. He still gets his fair share of goals but they are not out of nothing.

Sorry Ace I've tried but I can't. I've lost my respect for Poch over it and although its ridiculous I'm not happy with Kane either.

Moura is a nice fella and has accepted but behind the scenes I wonder if some of the boys are annoyed on his behalf?

We got overrun by City BEACUSE we had no Son or Lucas, ie no outlets with pace that could deter the opposition from hemming us back in our own half. The same thing would happen against Arsenal if we played the team you’re suggesting mate. They will attack us and we need to have guys on that can run at them and run past them.

I’d consider doing this by going 3 at the back and having the full backs starting higher up the pitch. But I doubt that would happen, so the alternative is to play at least one of Son or Lucas.

Ace, we had both Son and Lucas against Newcastle, and were like Tortoises going forward. Our form is dreadful, and as I said this will not change this coming weekend, whatever team the manager puts out.
