3 goals in 32 PL apps does not constitute as 'trying', bloke was useless and the stupid wages he was on unsettled half of the dressing room in the process. This bloke is possibly the worst player we've signed in the PL era.

you can run and work your nuts off, but things sometimes just dont work.

one thing you can not fault is the effort he has put in compared to many in the squad.

Absolutely agreed.

You can’t begrudge him anything IMO. He worked his absolute bollox off the vast majority of the time he was on the pitch.

Suggesting otherwise is simply revisionism, and patently unfair.

He’s become absolute, complete and utter bobbins, and I never want to see him in a United shirt again. But I can’t fault his attitude and application. It’s not his fault his talents have evaporated.
