Most fickled fans

Before maguire was signed everyone wanted a new defender to partner lindelof. No mention of smalling, now smalling is loaned out acc to some people smalling was our best defender

The same applies to Lukaku. The same striker who didn’t know how to control a football, struggle to score once again if was here we would have won our last 3 games

I swear reading most of the comments our fans are the most fickled bunch. You’re damned whether you get rid of the deadwood or not. There’s possibly not winning with everyone

What you want ole to do he’s sort out the rb and cb position. He clearly wanted more players but who wants to join a club whose been on decline for last 5 years. We have no CL to offer and if we buy superstars they will be mercenary players. If we buy championship or pl players we don’t have the pull. Once again going to get criticised one way or another.

It’s time everyone realises considering we had experience managers like LVG and Mourinho how much did they achieve between them considering the amount of money they spent as well.

Experience means F all, let ole do his job even though he’s “inexperience". He’s done what the other 2 experience managers didn’t do. He getting rid of the deadwood players and signing players we need for the team.

Get behind the team and manager. Forget about challenging for the title. This team needs big work and should be done with one manager. Look at klopp and poch they got rid of players that were not needed and bought players to fit their system. You can see how far behind we are behind these 2 teams

Not really, it just comes across as petulant imo.

“We want it the United way!”

How about giving Ole a chance to figure out his own way of playing football first before demanding that? Particularly given the squad he has simply isn’t capable of playing the kind of football most fans want imo, it’s too low on quality

Didn’t they win 3 trophies between them and both also managed to qualify for the CL?

If that’s the bar set for experience managers qualifying for Cl then Inexperience managers target should be top 6

I’m just pointing out, they actually won things.

So they did achieve some stuff.

Yeh, you’re definitely taking it way too seriously.

There are experience managers, managers who have experience of winning many trophies in different countries. Even though the trophies they won were not big major trophies they showed the struggle qualifying for top 4 consistently

Not many United fans even understand what the United Way actually is and why?

Ole at the wheel?

You'd be better off with Dean Saunders.

Being a fan for longer does not in any way rationalise a situation where you have a fire sale, without making an attempt to balance that out, be it through youth or quality replacements.

Soundbites and supposed values are all well and good. As are lazy "I was there during the war" style comments. It still doesn't excuse getting rid of disposable pieces, not in the right order, and having nothing to replace them with. And waiting a year to get said replacements, when we fall further down the league will make it more difficult.

So, if people can get beyond the patronising "you don't know how good you've got it" attitudes, does how we are doing things not slightly worry any of you, who know so well?

Anyone could get rid of deadwood. He’s not improving you on the pitch though, that’s the managers job. His appointment is almost the equivalent of arsenal replacing Emery with Sol Campbell

Anyone, can get rid of deadwood, I agree. But if I'd supported the club longer, I'd be well aware of the greater plan apparently

"Literally the only club who’s fans bang on about that. We’re just as successful as united as a club yet I’ve never heard our fans saying it’ll all be fine so long as we play “the Liverpool way”."

Just noticed this gem 🤣. You've never heard anybody talk about the Liverpool way?! Really?! Google "the Liverpool way." You might be surprised.

All feedback is welcome on a forum but I refuse to believe that anybody who professes to be a Liverpool fan hadn't heard the almost cliched over-usage of "the Liverpool way" in the not too distant past. Next you'll be saying that Liverpool never talked about their bootroom
