When do people get that Xhaka is our captain and Emery rate him.

But yes we lack a bit technical ability in our line-up in midfield. Would have left out Gwen for Ceballos.

i don't know why both Wenger & Emery rate him shouldn't be the captain imo though i'm not sure who should replace him as captain

Maybe you are biased and only see the bad things ?

I like xhaka in games where he has defensive cover he can pick out a pass to the wings. I'm guessing guen is in for energy in midfield but don't like it. Could see him getting sent offf

If only all you experts who know better than Emery had got your way and no Gwen eh? Comical.

So I guess this entire season is going to boil down to the kind of football we play over the final 45 minutes of games.

The first 45 minutes are for everyone to ad lib their "role for the day" and get to know whichever random teammate they've been lined up alongside. The actual football starts in the 2nd half.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that Emery is still trying to bed in a sizable percentage of his squad. But fek me, there's a very fine line between squad rotation and simply picking names out of a hat every weekend.
