Misfits

De bock to Sunderland on loan
Shaughnessy to Mansfield on loan
Anita contract terminated
Nicell contract terminated

We could end up being stuck with Bouy and O’Kane at this rate

"my point is that when our management are aware enough to mention this as a specific risk then there has clearly been a lack of decent risk assessment before signing this player."

Maybe that could have been seen with Saiz if people had taken notice of his working record, but like I said, normally nobody would know how a transfer from another Land will work until they try it, a reason why I wrote a lot of players that take the plunge wouldn't even know themselves until they try it!..

I was in the Forces and I and many more like me know what its like to be with people that are homesick, some of them will have even suffered it themselves, or Family problems that rip the crap out of families, homesick and Family are two completely different things but both can bring most Men to their knees!..

What you could do is look at the Bossman himself, Bielsa, people said we had no chance in getting him and than they said he wouldn't stay!..

Same sort of thing but he's turned it the other way around!..

Orta might have mentioned it as a problem, but I'd think he means for every player not just Saiz!..

Part of the process will be talking with family to risk assess and try to ensure they’re on board. I’ve said it before regarding foreign transfers you normally have a partner who is going to have to give up their job maybe kids so you need to find schools it’s not an easy process at all.

So its also Orta's fault for not taking Samu's wife out for a coffee and seeing if she's 'on board' now?

Jonty, it’s not an easy process as most things in life ain't as easy to some as others!..

I'd think the only problem is that the club will have done everything the way you're saying, thing is, some will say no problem, but than, they come over with their family and a few days, weeks, months later it changes!..

When I was coming out of the Army, my wife asked me, here or England, having 2 Step Sons I said its better one here unhappy than 3 in England!..

I've since discovered that England for the Lads wouldn't have been a problem, because one is there now, and the other is back in Germany but lived/worked in England for a few years and liked it a lot!..

My Wife, I know she wouldn't have settled, so, now I'm here on my own "not happy", but I think for my Family I made the right choice!..

Since then my Daughter came along, and it could be said that she's more than likely the only reason I'm still breathing!..

Without her I don't know what would have been these last number off years but, life to me sucks!..

That could be something that got to Saiz's wife, family, whatever, but whatever the club does for whoever, it could start of well but things can change and sometimes for the worst!..

It is a number process. Most players fail at some point. They don' settle for various reasons or get injured. SO the more brought in there, may be a gem among them. Take Chelsea, even they let Salah, DeBruyne & Lukaku go & look at them now.

It aint easy & the decisions made can & do change for what ever reason. To blame Orta for that is just stupid.

Germany, it’s not easy if other half of your family aren’t on your side. My Wife’s German and ive always found them pretty welcoming to myself although my wife’s mum didn’t like idea of my being jewish before she met me, but she was a product of society from the war so I can understand that and now she knows me there is no issue.

Jonty, I get on great with my wife's family, her parents were a little so so at the beginning, but that was more to do with her first hubby, he was British Military and used to knock her about,(in my book that sort ain't worth the air they breath!)and it took a bit off time to win their trust over but when I did they were brilliant!..
