all of our best players are still at WHL. Time now for the manager to start picking these players on a regular basis. No more excuses from the manager now about the transfer window disrupting him.
He now needs to start delivering results, no ifs, no buts. Time for excuses has gone. He has the tools, now start using them properly.
That`s it for this morning. Over to you lot.
PS Apparently Trippier wanted to stay, but club wanted him out. They obviously took my advice.
So at the end of the transfer window

Essentially the key question for establishing a best XI is: can Ndombele and lo celso play together in a midfield 2?
Both have played in a midfield 2 and lo celso has, although not amazingly, played as the deepest midfielder.
It's a possibility, but both players have a natural inclination to roam and expecting either player to play as the deepest midfielder really is a waste of their talents.
Maybe they will function as a double pivot - but what seems more likely to me is that they will need a sitter behind them and we'll lose an attacker.

I'm not sure how we are the third best team if we finished fourth last season, the table does not lie we only just scrapped through to the cl for this year.
DL said it perfectly in another earlier comment, there is still lots of uncertainty unless ppl start to sign contracts but what can the club do id they do not want to sign?
I said yesterday that they need to go on a run with at least 7 points from the next three games as a minimum, but lets face it this is a twi team league with us along with chelsea, arsenal, man utd and maybe leicester fighting for third and fourth, I would not be surprised if the gap between 2nd and 3/4th is at least 20 points this season.....................

Yes chelsea have got weaker but you would think arsenal and man utd could be stronger?

Why would United be stronger - have you seen the state of their players at the moment?
Arsenal potentially but they are poor defensively. If we bring it together like recent seasons (besides the last few months of last season) then we'll be alright.

Maguire and AWB are good signings but they are not Maldini and Cafu. United will struggle to secure top four in my opinion.
As good as a defender might be if there are constantly bombarded with attacks they will concede. They are a very young team at the moment and an undermotivated Pogba in there too.

No I understand but I still feel they are in with a shout for top four, it really depends on us winning the home games against the middle to lower tier teams, if we carry on with poor performances like newcastle then it will be difficult and will go to the wire again we cannot lost double digit games again for sure
