Sanchez

"I'm very happy I went to Manchester United,"

"I've always said that. It's the club that's won the most in England.

"When I went to Arsenal it was fantastic - I was happy there - but United were growing at the time, they were buying players to win something.

"I wanted to join them and win everything. I don't regret going there."

"I think that I'm happy when I play for my national team,"

"I was happy at Manchester United too, but I've always said to my friends: I want to play.

"If they would let me play I'll do my best. Sometimes I'd play 60 minutes then I wouldn't play the next game - and I didn't know why."

"I felt fine, I think I did well in the Copa America.

"After that, it depended on the coach to let me play. You need to ask him this question, not me."

Almost makes you feel sorry for him. Sounds as though Ole just didn't fancy him much, I don't think Jose did either in fairness.

It'll be interesting to see how he gets on in Serie A,hopefully he can play well and we can recoup some of the lost money.

On a side note, Lukaku has two in two for Inter, although one was a tap in, another a pen and he looks clumsy as ever.

James was easily our best attacker against Soton. We don't have a right winger save Chong
Martial and Rashford are both inside forwards. The only striker is Greenwood. It's up to Ole to juggle them to get the best out of them, and get a top striker in asap. One that suits the way we want to play, but I don't know who that is. A RVP mark 2 would be perfect.

I understand the point that James can do more at LW but I think he’s looked very lively and works hard off the ball. I also think Martial looked pretty comfortable at 9. For now, I’d keep them both there - the problem has been behind them. It’s a bit of a mess, though; our options are unbalanced up there.

Not really, because I think things can still improve. But do you really expect me to try and dress up this start to the season because I support the manager? There’s the difference between you and I.

Nothing to do with the manager - but surely you can accept that James has been better than you have opined on here? No dressing up needed. He’s one of the few who are stepping up and doing what’s needed.

No I don’t think so. He’s stepped up and scored goals, which is great, but he’s not stepped up and improved our wing play by creating chances and causing the opposition full backs problems with his on and off the ball running. His goals have papered over the ineffective wing play.

Almost makes you feel sorry for him? Every month he was at United he set up another generation of Sanchez family descendants for life 😂
