Dan James

Another quality goal! He definitely has good technique when striking the ball, he just needs to start improving on his crosses. He seems to be beating people for fun at the moment as well.

If we’re going on form he should be starting ahead of Rashford on the left, Marcus needs to know his position isn’t safe.

Is James right footed?

When he signed I assumed he was left but all of his goals appear to be with his right.

I think it’s safe to say he’s right footed. But these days it’s better for right footed players to play on the left if their main trick is cutting in and curling in shots. I don’t think he’s particularly skilful so playing him on the right might be easier to defend against as I don’t think he has any sort of great cross on him.

He’s better with his right, which means he’s better on the left. He left Swansea at the right time; if we left him out on the right, he’d be left wondering if he’d done the right thing.

If we had another his equal on the right I would be satisfied. Then we would need a natural goal scorer in the middle to go with either Martial or Rashford. Somebody of the same ilk as Aguero, or RVP; But they are not easy to find.

If Martial is fit for Saturday I’d be benching Rashford.

Bench Rashford and play who... Lingard, Pereira, mata... Why don't you stop talking nonsense. Rashford remains among our best attacking options...

I don’t know but we don’t have anyone who’s good on the right. Criminal that we neglected that area in the summer.

I'm sure we didn't neglect any area. Reading on here it's criminal we didn't sign two midfielders, a striker and a right winger.
I don't believe you can sign so many at one, particularly the ones you want. Another good window next summer (as good as the last) should see us good to go.
This season let's try and ignore any poor results, see if we can get the formation right, see if any youngsters are good enough, and take it from there.

Well he put in 3 very good crosses away at Southampton and not once did Rashford anticipate them.

Don’t think it was that much to ask to sign at least one more player. We only made 3 signings one of whom was a promising player from the Championship. Plus it’s all well and good saying we need a couple of centre mids and an attacker yet we are probably also going to lose Pogba next summer. Where does that then leave us? As without him literally our centre mid options are relegation standard and I’m not even exaggerating

Ignoring the GK, three players is 30% of a team, and they've all been good signings.
Another three and we have replaced over half the team. If we can do that in the two main windows that's good going.
I doubt we have a limitless budget, plus Ole only wants certain players, not just anyone. And having seen the three we have got, I trust him with the next three.

I meant a cross from the right side. I agree he’s good with those cutting in and having an inswinging cross that just begs for a good striker to get on the end of
