It’s just Rob talking shiiiiiit, as per.

Just speaking generally some players like to dictate play from deep with long, raking passes. We play a counter attacking style and perhaps Pogba likes to spray passes around setting players up.

Again, it’s just a theory and perhaps I’m wrong. But I remember Beckham who obviously was better on the wing wanting to play that kind of role. Some players just prefer to play that quarterback role as it allows a player to dictate games when their radar is on.

I don’t think Ole is ordering Pogba to stay in his own half for any tactical reason but his average position against Wolves was in his own half. Was that out of choice? Or a tactical demand?

Didn't Deschamps play Pogba deep during the '16 Euros and he was clearly frustrated at having to play so deep and was nowhere near as effective?

......................

Something I remember telling you about before we bought him when we were talking about his attitude.

He was getting frustrated and moaning at his team mates instead of getting on with it.

There is no doubt in my mind Pogba has an abundance of talent. But we are not using him to get the best out of it.

Funnily enough Ole was during the first ten games or so.

Difference is Pogba’s never said, or given any inclination, that he wants to play that role/position.

You’re just talking shiiiiiit to try and excuse Jose getting sacked and to give the impression Ole is weak and being dictated to by Pogba. It’s a bit pathetic really.

I'm pretty sure most fans were aware Pogba had a big ego and that he would often look frustrated when things weren't going his way.

Fans during the Euros were just saying that his performances then weren't a great representation of his talent because he was being played out of position.

Jose was deservedly sacked and I’d like you to find anywhere where I’ve said differently?

I do think Pogba played a part of it and is a problem in the dressing room but that wasn’t really the main reason he was sacked. Regarding Ole, I do think he’s a yes man. He won’t even park in SAFs car park space which is odd.

I’m just trying to look back at previous examples with the likes of RDM who were dictated to by the players and I just wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case at United.

Fair point, I shouldn’t expect Rob to be able to have a sensible discussion about football. It’s my own fault.

If AWB is nursing a back injury do people think it's wise for him to play? He's not going to be 100% fit and will likely have Chilwell, Barnes and Vardy to chase all game. That's three players with a lot of pace who will cause him a lot of problems, it certainly won't be an easy game for him not being 100% fit.

I'm personally looking forward to Vardy v Maguire, Harry likes to spend too long on the ball before releasing it and that's the last thing anyone wants to do with Vardy around.
