If you take out the slave trade denial... Some of what he says on the cast is plausible, African civilisations exploring and travelling etc

Irrespective of whether you like him or not he's lots of quality quests on his show that have had some amazing stories to tell.

The fact he got Elon Musk on his podcast shows his popularity .
The fact Elon voluntarily tried a fat blunt, causing Tesla stock to drop, was def more entertaining than most podcasts I've heard

But his stand up is awful.

His stand up comedy is utter utter schit his friends Bill Burr and Louise CK are much funneier. His show is different though speaks to a lot of interesting guests like David Goggins, Abby Martins, Elon Musk, Mike Tyson and Neil D Tyson. His shows get silly when he invites his friends from the self proclaimed “intellectual dark web” on to the show.

Loved the interview with Eddie Izzard a few months back. If it's a guest I like / am interested in then I always watch but if it's some random tend to watch a few clips and skip the rest.

Anytime JR is banging on about DMT or drug use etc that's a definite skip.

I'm surprised that the topic of slavery in Africa in 2019 isn't addressed. Slavery is alive and well in Africa and there's not a lot of outrage. Damned shame.

Slavery is still alive in many places. Not just Africa. Asia, Europe, the Americas, you name it. People like to act like its something in the past.

Dam Aykroyd is equally as crazy.
