Hernandez v Klitch!..

who has the say?..

Looking at the highlights and the Penalty, Hernandez had the ball in hand and Klitch didn't seem to happy!..

Klitch got his way and took the pen but I didn't see Hernandez congratulate him on scoring!..

Was there something or did the highlights just not show enough?..

We are generally pretty poor at penalties. Klich rolled it in against a weakened keeper. I just prefer a no-nonsense striker of the ball who gives the keeper no chance. In a high stakes game, who do you think would keep the coolest head?

And I suppose all his other successful penalties were taken against weaker keepers too?

You didn't answer the question, Lubo. Klich is a lovely, technical player, but he does bottle a lot of shots at critical times. A penalty at a critical time??? He wouldn't be my first choice.

It was a great pen, how it can be said otherwise is beyond me

I'm not sure what a pressure penalty is, to me they're all the same, Klitch has a good record with them, National team he's got them as well, sure there is more pressure than the one at Barnsley!..

Thing is, anyone can take a penalty, its a 50/50 thing, you can send the ball wherever you want but if the keeper goes the right way he has as much chance of stopping it as you have scoring!..

And sometimes luck plays a big part both ways!..

If you watched the game you'll see it was Cooper that stepped in and allowed Klich to take the penalty.

He took it well and confidently. Doesn't matter how they go in as long as they do. Bamford is the usual penalty taker I believe but happy to be corrected.

Given that the opposition was Barnsley and this is Leeds United we are talking about, I think it was a pressure point. They could have broken away from a missed penalty and scored (as we are all aware).

2-0 up almost guaranteed the points.

As seem as I wasn't home when the game was played I missed everything, but, I've watched the highlights and you see nothing with Cooper giving the pen to Klitch, so, sorry I missed it!..

And the Barnsley and pressure, if any player goes up to take a pen and thinks pressure against any opposition, than they shouldn't be taking the pen, playing a league game or a cup game, they're all the same, a game off footy that both teams want to win and like I said, I think there'd be more pressure for the National team than your club team!..

Pressure in a cup semi or final, or play off game ok, but not little ol Barnsley or any other league team!..

No no no Germany.

If a player doesn't feel pressure when he is taking a penalty then something isn't right. Of course there is pressure. If you think you should only let a player take a penalty that doesn't feel any pressure you are not going to have many options.

Sorry Faith, I know there'll be pressure and more for some than others, dumb to say there wouldn't be!..

What I should have said a player that feels more just because its a derby game shouldn't take them, no matter who you play against its the same thing you're playing for so the pressure shouldn't be any different!..

High blood pressure at the very least

Yeah I understand that. It's not about not feeling pressure, it's about being in control of that feeling.
