You can argue whether we should have brought in another striker or not all you want but I think we did the right thing selling him while we could still get a good price.
Just watched the 2nd half of Inters game and he offered nothing all half and lost the ball most of the time he had it.
Also missed a gilt-edged chance right at the death to win the game. It was a great save but he should have made it unsaveable.
He’ll get goals there but never a truly top player.

The Belgian league isn't a patch on the PL. It's a good league to develop players in like many leagues in Europe, such as the Portuguese, the Dutch, and, at a higher level, The French league.
Lukaku has a poor record against good teams, compared that to Rashford, he's miles behind. Rashford also has fight in him unlike Lukaku who left Chelsea and now United as he didn't want to compete for first team football. He expects to be the number 1 choice. Even in his first season, he went through a goal drought that should have seen him dropped.
He's a good goalscorer against lower teams but when you expect more of him, he let's you down. Rashford is only 21 and we're comparing him to Lukaku who is in his prime and didn't score much last season due to his fitness and laziness issues.
Even Blind had him in his pocket when we played Everton in Lukaku's last season there. Any intelligent defender knows how to get the better of him, despite being slower, smaller or not as physically imposing.
It's a good thing we sold him. But poor business in not replacing him.
