I recall Bergkamp was branded a flop by many as he went his first six games without a goal.

Not saying Pepe will turn to be anything like these two but far too early to judge him.

I'd personally wait until we have a manager who is more for playing attacking football to judge him because less face it, our attack in general (apart from Auba) is not really pulling trees at the moment.

I would give it 10 games and then see where we are at with him.

Doesn't look like he is fully expressing himself yet in games. I am sure a goal will change that

Every player needs time to settle. Lacazette was questioned in his first season also, and now he is fan's favorite. You can see that Pepe is quality player, gets past players probably easiest in whole PL, it's just matter of time he settles and starts banging goals.

Bergkamp, Henry, Pires all took around 10 games to score and a season or so before they were a talisman

Lacazette was seen as the poorest of the three between him, Lukaku and Morata. He turned out to be the best of the three in the long run. Sometimes you have to wait a season to see. Even Lindelof struggled in his first season at United and now he's first choice.
