Think Mustafi was alright tonight. Chambers had more problems than him but improved later on

Mustafi prob scared of doing bad stuff - he's scared of Luiz - and chambers will never be a LB - he is too slow

We are still wide open.

I have no idea what Emery is doing with the midfield in training. He has abandoned the idea of them defending

Great result in the end, and well chuffed with the academy kids for stealing the show, but it's still concerning how many chances we give away. Frankfurt had 24 chances that game. We really need to do better.

Pepe been very quiet , expected him to do much better here only contributed one run since coming on, beginning to worry he going to be another transfer that disappoints

He’s only had 3 starts. And barely got a ball passed to him on weekend or today. I wouldn’t worry just yet. Many signings take time to settle in, then go on to be very good. Give him bit more time

CBs were mostly solid today.

The result flattered us. Good points. Martinez was outstanding. Saka was excellent . Bad points . Our midfield was pretty shocking. Willock did some great things but also made some bad errors. ESR was badly off the pace.Torreira was not great . Xhaka was actually not too bad . Chambers was not great defensively and Kolasinac was shocking. Mustafi and Luiz shaky as usual.
Starting to worry about Pepe . Apart from the pass to Saka for the goal he was poor again. He has no right foot whatsoever ...£70m... How much did we watch him play before we spent all that money ? At the moment it's looking poor value for money. He was outplayed by an 18 year old rookie .
