Because I saw his flaws back then, and have always said on here that he isn't anywhere near as good as our fans think.

I would love him to prove me wrong, I really would, but can't see it.

Just saying no one else has had as many good chances to score as Rashford in the PL. The best strikers exceed there expected goals by a lot. Remember Chelsea 2016/17 season, they won the league mainly due to insanely lethal finishing. Probably the best finishing team in PL history scoring 23.2 goals more than expected.

The thing is the only season we had decent finishing since SAF left was in 17/18 season and it was same season we had an incredible goalkeeping performance the only season De Gea was amazing since SAF left and we finished 2nd.

So pretty much efficiency is key. We deserved to finish 4th in 16/17 and 18/19 season but finished 6th due to poor efficiency at both ends.

Expected goals isn’t too bad as it tells you how good teams are at finishing. But it’s flawed extending it to expected points because it ignores how goals change the flow of games.

Jones really hasn't done badly in his appearances this season (pre-season and last night) I know that feeling that at any moment the "Phil Jones Moment" could rear it's ugly head - but he's done OK. Rojo is a mystery of a player. For country he's had some amazing moments (shot and goals even) but what's in that brain of his? I think Marcus could use a night or two off and just chill out - he's trying too hard to make something happen and it just doesn't work like that. If we had any luck we score 3-4 goals, but it was Keystone Cops in front of their goal. Ole will have to make a few faves unhappy for a couple matches and then let them find form again. It wasn't a complete disaster, because we did learn a few things - that's at least what I got out of that mess.
