Liverpool Cheating Again

Liverpool 'paid Manchester City a £1million settlement after their Premier League rivals complained their scouting system had been hacked into.'

The confidential settlement was reached in September 2013 after it was reported City hired computer espionage experts to see if their system had been spied on.

Michael Edwards, who is now Liverpool's sporting director, was also alleged by City to have been involved in accessing their database on the Scout7 system on hundreds of occasions.

Edwards had made the move between the two clubs in 2011 and he worked as Liverpool's head of performance and analysis at the time of the settlement.

Fallows is now Liverpool's head of recruitment, while Ward was the Anfield club's European scouting manager for Spain and Portugal and is now their loan pathways and football partnership manager.

The £1m settlement was made without Liverpool or the accused trio accepting any liability or wrongdoing. The allegations were never tested in court.

It has been suggested City accelerated their efforts to sign Fernandinho after suspecting the alleged breach in their scouting database.

City also reportedly sped up their pursuit of Jesus Navas from Sevilla as a result of the breach

They alleged the Scout7 system had been unlawfully accessed using the login and password of a City scout over an eight-month period from June 2012 to February 2013.

If proven to be correct, their actions would appear to have contravened Premier League rules, which stated then as now: 'Each club shall behave towards each other club and the League with the utmost good faith.'

It was suggested that City accelerated negotiations to sign Brazil midfielder Fernandinho from Shakhtar Donetsk and Spain winger Jesus Navas from Sevilla after discovering the possible breach of security.

Concerns were first raised when City discovered Liverpool were also interested in Real Zaragoza youth player Paolo Fernandes.

Both clubs were tracking the midfielder, now 21, but he signed for City in 2017 and is currently on loan at Perugia.

It was reported back in June 2013 that City believed their worldwide scouting database may have been hacked by an employee at an unnamed rival Premier League club and that computer espionage experts had been brought in.

Typical, Condoning illegal practices to get ahead. Still failed to win the leagueJust confirms that Klopp is a fraud

How stupid are you City fans?

The OP clearly states the compensation was agreed in 2013, way before Klopp became manager.

Let's not let facts get in the way of your idiocy though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Klopp obviously benefitted from the fraud

That ship hasn't existed for over a decade. Such a tired old joke.

Man City 5-0 up against Watford after 18 minutes a week after watford were made to look like Guardiola 3011 Barcelona side against Arsenal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely you mean the Barca team that took United to school?

Sorry meant 2011 not 3011. Yeah the one that took pretty much every team that year to school. I actually watched the 2nd half and Watford were just running through Arsenal wave after wave of attacks with decent chances but they kept snatching at every shot as they got more desperate, their finishing was really bad. Watford went from probably there most one sided game they played in the PL to the most battered one sided game in like a week.

Bin dippers are jobless, toothless no pun intended Firminho and gutless

Their history is full of wins where the ref helped them.

When Carragher was playing, he’d stop opposition goals by sticking his arms out and get away with it.
That’s why that infamous slip by Gerrard and the fact after their best ever season they still lost in a one horse title race is karma
Big time

Let’s have more karma

So, how's this going for you.
