The end of Pep and City?

slight reach this, but with the news that Peps wife and his eldest child will be relocating permanently back to Barcelona leaving him and the other 2 children in Manchester does anyone think this is the start of the end of Pep. Is his wife a secret dipper fan?

The cynic in me can see a less than successful season for him, the missing of his wife and family unit and suddenly he needs a break to be with his family again.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

This will be his final season, until he's asked to re-join Barcelona.

Think that will happen soon. Valverde won’t be there much longer, peps family moving back. Messi maybe has 3-4 yrs at the top. I know it doesn’t always work like that but it does appear all set up for him to return. Let’s be fair Pep is never going to take on a challenging job is he

The Mirror " understands" .Did this come from a source or an onlooker or an insider.
Anyway , I must have read the wrong article, the one I read says she has gone for three months for business reasons
We are doomed ,doomed

The OP is reading more into the article than I do. Of course Pep takes on challenging jobs, the biggest in world football more or less. Whet he has had the sense to avoid is taking a job at say, Stoke, for a lot less money to'prove' himself.

i have always said success in football is cyclic.
Some cycles are short some much longer. We had our cycle of success under SAF

When pep came in i was sure he will dominate with city's resources and they will enjoy a cycle of success. How long depends massively on how long pep stays and if city have a succession plan.

As a utd fan, I should be happy at the mere possibility that pep will leave like others were happy SAF retired. The truth is we have not put ourselves in a position to take advantage even if pep leaves. Other clubs are in a better position. I think we are finally on the right path tho with ole in charge

He is the reason they are where they are?
The Arabs are the reason they are where they are, without the oil money they would be championship at best

It takes both Eric, money and manager. If Pulis was manager they wouldn't be where they are even with the money.

The money bought the manager, Pulis with no money they are in the championship, they were supposed to go forward with Franny, they went backward with Balley,

Jose lived out of a suitcase on his own in a hotel when he managed United for 3 years. Im sure Pep can mange City ok amongst his kids in his own mansion in Cheshire whilst his missus cleans up with her business in catalonia. Happy days for the Guardiolas.

The bitterness on here is amazing, especially after you got 'hammered'. Stick to mid table, it suits you but the Championship may suit you better.
