Payed 6: W2 D2 L2 : 8 points : 5th.

Drawn 1 away in the CL.
Still in both domestic cups.

Not great, not terrible.

Certainly far too early to have an hysterical meltdown.

I have faith in the manager and the squad, and am still excited to see our new players in action.

This is critical at the moment. Fans who accept this type of form and failure are a huge part of the problem.

Fans with short memories, unrealistic expectations and a sense of entitlement are a far bigger problem.

Sizzle you have been banging on about the club needed to win trophies for years. Why the change of heart?

I have no faith in this set of players, manager and club at the moment. They have let us down time and time again. Even our successes of recent times and in failure. We are what we are and our fans blindly back failure.

This kind of comment cracks me up.

What is failure? Since Poch took over we have had the budget of a midtable team. In fact we have been out spent by the likes of West Ham. He inherited a squad is disarray that finished 6th. 6th is where we should have been finishing under Poch.

Instead he has delivered champions league football year on year and developed our players into top class footballers.

Sure it would be nice to have won a trophy, but getting to the champions league final was an insane achievement. And domestically there are 5 other top teams going tor 2 trophies each year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Every single one of those other 5 clubs have picked up the odd trophy recently. We are the only ones out of those who haven't. We have been better than some of them and still not. Does that not tell you something?

I disagree completely. Our fans have been more than patient and give the club and easy ride really. The club are lucky to have us as fans. It's about time we stop accepting mediocrity and no trophies.

What are you going to do Bake em? Run on the f*cking pitch?

Ostriches come to mind with lots of our supporters mate. You seem to be one of the very few that can see the car crash that is happening before our very eyes.

No change of heart, we should be aiming to win trophies.

We go again on Tuesday against Colchester.

I honestly don't know. Been tempted to jack the ST in and focus on some local non league football. Was going to go to Chatham Town v Lordswood yesterday (a local derby) which saw a superb crowd of 530 or something.

Judging by Poch`s efforts against Wycombe, Newport and Rochdale over the past few years, this game will be anything but a gimmee.
