It is often said that Pochettino

has never been given any money to spend, and that Spurs are punching above their weight.

Well I can count a spend of £237 on just eight players since he has been at the club, culminating in the record signing of Ndombele last summer. Just off the top of my head Poch has definitely had money to spend.

Sessignon £25 million
Ndombele £53 million
Sanchez £42 million
Aurier £23 million
Moura £25 million
Sissoko £30 million
Janssen £17 million
Son £22 million

That comes to a cool £237 million

Add in

Llorente £12 million
Foyth £8 million
Clarke £8 million
Njie £12 million
Toby £11 million
Wanyama £11 million
N`Koudou £10

That is another £70 odd million

So totalling up that is over £300 million Levy has given the manager over just a few years, and he still has not won a bean. I think we need to stop with the nonsense that he has not had money, he most definitely has.

How many other clubs in the Prem, other than the very elite or the sugar daddy clubs have had that much money at their disposal. Not many, if any. He has had money, brought the players, and is still making excuses, aided and abetted by fans I must say, that he is not being backed properly, when he clearly has been through the whole of his tenure at the club.

You don't know how it works, do you?
I remember vividly the day a seemingly totally random news cast came on the air. Literally out of nowhere (as there was no hint of anything untoward at the time). It was said, "Harry Redknapp insists he will not leave Tottenham Hotspur Football Club". This was in the evening time.

The very next morning all the news networks were blowing up the astonishing fact that "Spurs Manager Harry Redknapp Sacked"

My point is, when we talk of "he said this, he never said that" in reality we don't know much of anything what goes on BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.

Yet the "body language" is evident. For those with eyes to see...

So he didn't say he would leave then, he said he may have left

Weird how after he publically criticised journalists for misquoting him about this very story you're still peddling this

Oh come on!

Whether he said he would or may leave he shouldn't of mentioned it at all, it served no purpose.

Oh and this was a wake up call for the very first time in my life that the media can and does lie/twist things among other things that many have no clue about. All the world's a stage.

His "trouble" has been with Levy. Pochettino understands that we've had a very small transfer budget relative to others we are competing with and if that continues for the next few years he would look to leave.

His leave comments were around (if we'd won) that it was an anomaly. Fantastic achievement that shouldn't be expected every year and if it was then we'd need to be investing more heavily in the squad.

He went about it funny but that's the gist of it.

To be honest mate, Poch needs to stop mouthing off so much, and just get on with winning football matches. That is what he gets paid for.

Yes, he's been spending too much time with Danny Rose.

If we had Mourinho in charge he still wouldn't have shut up mouthing off about the VAR decision.

I cannot believe that anyone thinks Jose could end up at Spurs. We don't pay our players anywhere near what he would want. He would be Levys worst nightmare.

I've said the same but I'm sure others think he would do a better job than Poch.
