Celtic 3 v 1 Kilmarnock

The start of our 3 games in 6 days got off to a bit of a fright but in the end we were very comfortable.

We played pretty well first half, bit of a sucker punch to be 1 down but as seems to be the case with this team, they don't panic and we effectively scored 3 goals in 13 minutes of the game.

I thought Ajer was very, very poor again and that's two in 2 games where he's been poor. Just wonder if we've rushed him back from this injury and it's playing on his mind.

Edouard with another 2 goals to take his goal contribution for the season to 17 goals in 16 games. Also scored with a header, just his 2nd in 41 goals for Celtic

Bauer impressive at right back and an assist. Who would have thought we'd get rid of two diddy's and replace them with two very good players, not like us

The penalty decision, having seen it again, clear pen, daft challenge again by Brown and that's now 3 ridiculous pens he's given away and we're only in September. If he can stop that anytime soon that would be grand.

Now onto Partick Thistle on Wednesday and they'll be boosted by Ian McCall taking over but that's not something that should have much of a bearing.

We need to use the game to rest some of the key players as we need them firing for Saturday lunchtime. Edouard, McGregor, Christie, Forrest should all be on the bench or left out completely.

Problem is, Julien and Bauer may miss out with injury so trying to guess the back 4 is some buzz...

If we can get two wins this week then we're in a terrific position to finish the next batch of games before the international break strongly with Cluj at home and Livingston away next week.
