In a bar in Cyprus, and after the Celtic game they put on the Real Madrid youth team.. they only looked 10 or 11 but by fvck could they play football.
I know how good our kids are, but the Spaniards are on another level at that age. They're playing like the Real Madrid first team. The technical ability is way above what I've seen some of our youth teams play.
I know money is a massive factor in that they can attract the world's best kids, but wow! I was genuinely amazed at just how good they were.
We've a lot to measure up to.

I know you're more qualified than me to speak on this Silver but what I saw tonight compared to some of the stuff Celtic put out of our kids at that age is almost night and day.
It's not just the technical ability (they're on par).. it's the way they play and build attacks. It's on another level.
I was so surprised at how much they looked like the first team in their ability to create chances and pull the opposition apart. They're clearly being taught tactics and movement better.

I thought that Morrison wasn't particularly highly rated and the German interest sort of came out of the blue?

I see Billy Gilmour started for Chelsea last night, and by all accounts had a good game. Good to see young Scottish players making it through.

I watched Morrison once and he was hopeless but to be fair he got a head knock.
That boy at right back that night signed for Hamilton, i've never seen a worse footballer at that age group in all my years.
