Keep calm and carry on

I'm as critical as the next man about our team, and one minute after today's match I have to admit I was expressing my dismay and exasperation at all aspects of our abilities and tactics. It's now four hours later and the red mist of irrationality has disappeared and once again I realise that there's so much more to be positive about than negative. I do concede that the confidence of the team is fragile and when things turn against them, the lads do become less effective. But as the season progresses and we start cementing our rightful position at the top, I'm confident that the team's nerves will calm. That confidence comes from knowing we've got so many assets that other teams don't have, namely:
– Bielsa, who is acknowledged as being a class above anyone else in this division – tactically and motivationally
– An established squad that is more or less the same as last year, with a few excellent additions
– A playing style that is the envy of every other team in this league and one that makes the fans prouder of their team than they have been for many, many years.
– A fanatical fanbase that even Premier League clubs can only dream of
We're going through a rocky patch, and it won't be the last, but stick with the lads because so much of what makes them strong is knowing they've got the best fans in the land, and that we believe.

I thought a lot off these players were with us the year before last?..

Its odd the way believers give so much stress, I'd think it better if they gave a bit of slack and tried giving them a chance, I mean, until the table says otherwise, we've got the same chance as anyone else!..

But we seem to give more stress than anyone else!.

You could argue that we are limited because:
Bielsa can't accommodate individuality and passion
- we have a squad that plays the same way as last year and teams know how to play against us
We have a playing style that is easy on the eye and easy on the opposition
We have a fanbase that intimidates our own players
We love Bielsa for what he has brought to the club, Lorra, but when was the last time we came from behind (remember Villa and Blackburn last year?) Or got just reward for our domination (West Brom last year) or scored an undeserved win against the better team? These are the habits of winning teams and we are not showing these qualities when we need to. This is a moment of truth for Bielsa, Lorra, he has molded a fine team and he has reshaped the club, but can he instil the fight we need to get out of this league?

"You could argue that we are limited because:"

Why don't you just sing how does it how it goes?..

We're crap,(insert the true word!)and we know we are!..

This team is good enough to get somewhere, there is no way we're going to go the season without losing some points, so, a few now or later it will happen!..

Its the end of season points that say whether or not this team is good enough, and its the fans that can make or break it!..

Something I pointed out in my last post but it seems some don't want to see it!..

I thought we’d build in foundations Bielsa laud last season, but we seem less effective up top and you’re right, teams know how to play us.

I hate to knock Bielsa, but when you have likes if Bowyer, Nathan Jones and Lampard who are complete novices at management outsmarting Bielsa one has to wonder why the more experienced manager is not coping better at addressing this, especially if as he is always claiming, that he feels he has the better players and he doesn’t need more.

I’d love for nothing more than the fairytale to come true with Bielsa, but we have to be careful that we don’t become a standing joke with this inability to deliver when needed.
