Son, Kane, Eriksen..what a goal!

It's great to see one of our counters actually pay off for a change. We've usually been terrible at getting the ball to the final man and getting a shot off.

Very good goal and ironically if it had been 11 v 11 at that point we may not have scored it. Saints had committed men forward, if we still had 11 on the pitch they’d probably have had everyone behind the ball

In the 2016 season..Wanyama and Dembele used to add such great protection. Dier seemed better at RCB in that season. he was lighter and more mobile.

Nowadays not sure I trust Dier to be more than a standard CB that’s suited to deep line defending. ‘Header and clear’ tactics

One thing that is puzzling.Ndombele played on the right of the midfield in France. Why move him to the left?
We seem to lack left footed players in the side, other than Lamela. Lo Celso would be that player we so badly need to balance the side. Ndombele should be played on the right. That’s where he ended up playing when we went a man down and Poch shuffled the pack, and looked much more comfortable.
We started the game with slow tempo and suddenly the likes of Kane, Son and Eriksen realised we needed a higher tempo passing and they clicked instantly.
The second goal was a great counter attacking team goal.

Dunno about that...... I think Long term GLC or Dele will play in the 10 role but neither fit enough right now. Just my opinion but I prefer Lamela as an impact sub. We don't really have much choice right now. With that said I would be shocked if Poch rotates Lamela for Eriksen.....

good goal. i liked the goal celebration for the first goal too. very apropo for this season.
