We're poor but we love to miss a sitter or a one on one. I actually feel sorry for Ole sometimes, the amount of points we've lost from missing open goals this season is atrocious and it's been going on since Jose's first season here. Ibra, Lukaku and Rashford being the main culprits.
McT misses an open goal with a poor header where he is unmarked (had a good game) and Rashford messes up a one on one. Against West Ham, Mata has an open net and puts it wide, Maguire has a chance two yards out and hits it at the keeper. At Wolves Martial is clean through and steps on the ball and Pogba misses a pen, the next game at Southampton, Rashford misses a pen.
Ole is at fault for not setting up the team to create more chances but it just feels like we're cursed in front of goal. Ole not only needs to rethink his tactics but he seriously needs more clinical players in midfield and up top, even if we have to pay over the odds.... AGAIN!

Every team misses good chances. Ours stick in the mind more because we create so few of them.
In fact that McT chance from the corner was probably the only big chance we had today.

the officiating was dire all round, clear onside given as offside, back to back corners given the wrong way, was just terrible all round

Yep this is the problem. It’s not difficult to see why we create so few either, we don’t get enough players forward. Different coach but same shiiiiiiit.

I have to agree with this. Though we certainly need a top goalscorer, finishing is way down our list of problems. We miss a couple of decent chances a game on average, no more.

You are not going to create anything when you have Lingard and Perreira as your two attacking midfielders. What Ole still sees in either of them two I do not know. ANOTHER utterly pointless game by that waste of space Lingard. That lad is absolute trash

You mean the Kolasinac handball? People said it was a pen. I havent seen it. Has anybody of you a short video of the incidence?
Apart from that it was a horrible game to watch. Two poor teams. Think the draw is the right result overall.

It's a difficult one. Not a penalty for me as he is moving his arm away from the ball, not towards it.

Every team misses good chances, Salah and/or Mane miss a great chance/s for us every game. it's about creating a host of chances to maximise the chance of scoring.
You seem to be trying to keep it tight first and foremost and hoping to nick a goal by having more possession than the opposition. This has been how you've played since Fergie left.
