The entitled humiliated at new fortress

Or so called fortress

Embarrassment to English football losing to a well past their sell by date German side.

Maybe this entitled fan base should just accept their place getting top 4 and enjoy getting to play the top boys in Europe.

Anyways lads the Europa league looks doable and let’s face it is more your level, clouds and silver lining

a person buying all 3 kits and subscribing to lfc tv

or a person who buys a season ticket for anfield and may do some away games

who is the bigger fan ?

the players can hear the fans voices inside anfield but wont hear the ones streaming the game or watching it on t v in surrey or singapore

You miss the point.

Its not about the bigger fan, its about the fan, period.

You talk about players hearing the fans in the stadium, which is true and invaluable and appreciated but in truth, it's fans who buy merchandise and pay for subscriptions that pay these players their mega wages and give the clubs the millions to spend on the best players they can get, from all over the world.

You talk like this on a forum but if you look at the way clubs are operating, the clubs realise the pivotal importance of these fans.

They don't meet your standards perhaps but they certainly meet those of your club and all others.

the days of us fans paying the players wages are long gone tho

t v money is the biggest source of income

Yeah, partly because not all fans can attend games. Some can't be bothered, others literally can't.

The game has been brought to those who can't go to it, like any other product.

it's sad when a normal working class person can't take 2 kids to football now without having to spend a small fortune.

i understand people not being able to go to games

The Liverpool game is in right now and I can't even watch it, leave alone going to a game

Stuck with work FFS.

Can't even stream it but can follow match threads at least.

I was born and raised in NE London, started going Spurs with my dad and uncles when I was 9, had a ST for 5 years ‘99-‘04, gave it up when I moved away from London but even since then not one season has passed where I haven’t got to a minimum 3 games (sometimes quite a few more). In 06/07 I went to many of our away UEFA Cup games, bit of a mini-tour.

Then you get southerners that ‘support’ Liverpool - or chose them because they were the biggest club despite no real affiliation - slagging my club and saying it’s inferior to ‘their club’. We could all choose to support the most successful clubs just so we can give it Billy Big Bollox, but if that’s the way people want to play it they’ll get the plastic tag thrown back at them every time with no apologies.

If you're sure then call then whatever you want.

That's not what happens on here though.

Team loses a match, fans resort to calling all other fans plastic.

Going around a forum calling people plastic and going on about attending games is not the same as what you described there. Its a forum and you don't know the guy on the other end of the keyboard.

Let's be honest the only reason people do it on a forum is because they're feeling butthurt and have nothing else to hit back with.

classic example on the football live thread

merkin calling boris off the city board a blue seat

boris goes to games

That's just banter. Going to games is not some holy Grail that means people can't take the proverbial IMO.
