Plot Summary
Spurs' lust to go one better this season in Europe, seemed to push them on towards a good start against a German side currently in transition. Plenty of chances were created and they eventually take the lead through a clever Son strike after just 12 minutes of play.
However, their sloth-like approach to defending would be their undoing. Failing to close down their opponents and do their jobs would ultimately be their downfall, lasting only 3 minutes before Kimmich drew level.
Tottenham manage to hang on until just before halftime, but Bayern have other ideas after the break, adding two more not long after. At 4-1 down, Kane manages to stick a penalty in the bottom corner to restore some pride to the home team, giving them half an hour to claw back a 2 goal deficit.
The wrath of Gnabry however was too much for this Spurs side, with the German, deemed not good enough for West Brom, notched his hat-trick 20 minutes later. Lewandowski's envy for being the top scorer saw him claw one back on his teammate with a matter of minutes to go, but Spurs' gluttony for punishment mixed with Gnabry's greed saw him notch a 4th just a minute later.
What will happen to a Spurs side on the slide? Will the manager pay the price for the inactivity in the transfer market? Will the rumours of turmoil in the dressing room be resolved?

Pride,
If it makes you feel better, FIFA has launched an investigation into Gnabry's greed.
