Time for Tanganga?

The nearest comparison I can make for his case is Fikayo Tomori of Chelsea. Both relatively untested and unknown England u21s before the season started.

Tanganga and Tomori both had decent pre seasons. However Lampard has shown faith in him and by most accounts hes doing well. Perhaps Poch should show some faith in Tanganga especially as hes already tested him against top quality teams in pre-season.

If Rose, Aurier, Alderweireld or Vertonghen don't want to be at the club give the shirt to a kid that does.

He looked better than Sanchezđź‘Ť

I agree Tarrico. Thought he looked more comfortable on the ball and better positional sense than DS

Throwing the youngsters into the starting eleven when the senior players are in this kind of form is not a good recipe IMO.

Tomori has a lot more experience though after his great season with derby.

Tanganga has 60 mins v Colchester.

This

Looked alright against league 2 opposition. Nowhere near ready for the first team.

Shame we went out of the LC so early, gives the young players more opportunity to play.

our youngsters will get their chance to disappoint us in the Europa league next season

Tomori wasn’t untested, he was able to come into this squad with around 80-90 first team appearances at Championship level. He had two loans before Derby.

Tomori was derby's POTS last year.

90% of our fans hadn't heard of Tanganga until this summer and he's already 20. It's weird how much people rate him now.

Tbf him not going on loan last season was negligent by the club.

So he spent a year not learning anymore and stagnant maybe regressed a little.

He was lucky Eyoma got injured otherwise he wouldn’t even made the tour.

Although again him doing well on that tour probably stopped him going on loan again this season and now is just training with the first team gaining little experience.

Club does my head in atm with how they are looking after our youngsters.

KWP probably should’ve had 100 league appearances on loan by now yet he’s got about 15 staying with us and again has regressed.

Our U23s squad is a wasteland where players go to die.

Well, we are certainly looking at a defensive clear out, but I`m sure this kid is the answer yet. We need to be looking at ready made replacements for Rose, Aurier, Jan and Toby, time for our scouts to earn their bread.
