There's more to it than that. They'd have had numerous discussions between ownership, the coaching staff and the players as well as assessing the other coaching options available.

Not really, it’s just basic due process. The fact the decision making is atrocious at the club wouldn’t change this. The idea that Ole was just appointed on a whik is retaaaarded, even for a board as incompetent as ours.
