His comment a while back...
"I really squeezed, like an orange, to achieve them. When you have a very professional group of players who are ambitious, hard-working and talented, at a structured club, you don't have that erosion.
"When you are almost alone, in that you don't have the support of the club close to you, while certain players go somewhat against the coach, who is the nice guy?
"I don't want to be the nice guy, because the nice guy, after three months, is a puppet and that doesn't end well.
"I said nine or 10 months ago that after winning eight championships, finishing second with United may have been my greatest achievement. Now people understand.
"About United I want to say only two things: One is that time has spoken. Two is that the problems are still there."
I wonder if he signed some sort of NDA. Maybe one day he can tell all about how useless the club were.
Jose summed it up best..

Problem is that Mourinho will never acknowledge his huge part in United being such a mess on the pitch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This.
Jose cares only for his own reputation. It was a huge part of his downfall here actually.
Doesn't matter much when things are going well but when they arent, and you're in the state we're in, its throw everyone else under the bus to save himself.
Not that what hes saying is completely wrong, but boy was that a massive fūck up of an appointment.

Yep, it’s always somebody else's fault with Mourinho.
Things going to complete shiiiiiit since he left does not absolve him of blame because he’s a large reason for it.
But it’s worked out well for his reputation as he can just point to our results since he left. And he’s charming enough to convince them he’s not the problem when things go badly.
It’s how he got the job in the first place.

I’m no big Pogba fan but without him over the past few seasons god knows how bad it would have been.

Lukaku disappeared in another big game this evening against Juve. I cannot contain my shock at this.

I literally just finished watching it. He played fairly well but every single one of his teammates did their own thing tonight. Was a very good game. End to end and miles better than what we saw today.

It is true though. No one passed to each other when each person was open. Just went for the glory shot.

Every manager leaves the next one with players that aren’t great
A certain manager left us with Darmian, Rojo and Morgan to name a few.

What did you say earlier about whataboutery...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s allowed when it’s Roy’s Keane as he was the master of whataboutery when Jose was appointed

From the guy who never shuts up about lvg

I genuinely never mention him until you bring up Jose.

After Jose first signed you continually had pops at van gaal

Like 4 seasons ago. I’ve moved on from LVG, you should too

Nah, it’s to have an introspective look back at how each manager did and a ‘what if’ look had they stayed. Just curious. I certainly don’t want to get a time machine and make him keep his job.
