Eriksen Whining In the Press

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7549741/Christian-Eriksen-admits-toughest-period-Tottenham-career.html

Maybe he should have shut his mouth and he might get more support

If you don't sign the contract on offer, say you want to join RM and proceed to play like shlt for 9 months then I'm afraid you get no sympathy. Saying you wouldn't mind staying if nothing happens... simply isn't good enough

With a bit of luck GLC will be fit after the Intl break. At that point he should start every game. Same with Sessegnon, Sanchez, Foyth. We need to give the guys who are committed long term as many minutes as possible to find some form.

I dont care if that means 3 at the back (with one of Toby Or Jan dropping out) so be it. Figure out a way to make it work. Dont wanna see the likes of Rose, Eriksen, Wanyama, Aurier & Dier (reported today he's gonna be transfer listed) anywhere near the first team. We are gonna get peanuts for most of them anyway. With a bit of Luck a few younger/ committed guys with follow the new captains example & put a facking shift in

Haven’t read the article but agree with the general principle. There are a number of players who have indicated they want out, and are not performing. Rather than persist with these players we should consider outright dropping them and starting over.

Eriksen for a start is offering us so little this season (as I predicted) that it’s hardly worth fielding him. If GLC is fit after the break I’d get him in.

Ditto as soon as Foyth is fit I’d get him straight in at CB but I’d be looking to swap to a back 3. Said time and again I feel this suits us more as the full backs aren’t as exposed and with no protection from central mid we are struggling with a back 4. Still unconvinced by Sanchez but would be interested to see Tanagaga brought in. Fack it why not? Get some fresh hungry blood in, players that want to prove their worth.

KWP back in at RB. I don’t care if he’s no prime Walker, Aurier must never play for Spurs again and Sissoko is needed elsewhere so he’s the only choice we have right now. Left back is another problem, maybe an even bigger one. Rose wants gone, but Davies isn’t a fantastic replacement at this point.

Fitness permitting that’s a team I’d rather see take field in our next match than Aurier, Verts, Eriksen, Rose. Hugo would’ve been dropped injury or not. We need to muddle through to January and actually be proactive in the window, get rid of the wantaways, bring in new fullbacks and blood some of our younger players. Time to move on instead of dragging out the death throes of this squad. Obviosuly there won’t be an overnight improvement. At this stage it’s about damage limitation and preparing to start again properly next season.

No Son? Seriously what are people watching?

While i agree on the idea of only playing players who are committed and with us for the long run... the above team would probably send us into a relegation battle, and we would then have to bring the older heads back to get us out of it...

that said looking at our upcoming fixtures, if we fail to beat Watford, then i can see us sliding into a temporary "relegation battle" anyway

if winks plays instaed of sessegnon then this is an incredible physically lightweight midfield

Not this season he hasn't. Excellent against Arsenal, Palace, Leicester and Bayern Munich in the first half.
