Good watch about CCTV camera footage and how it can be manipulated, even though it is used as admissible evidence in court, by the people at the top of the hierarchy.

Not sure how many people have seen the story of John Sweeney?

He is the guy who headed Panorama for years, which is one of Britain's most popular investigative shows. Over the years they probed into many different high-profile people's grimy personal lives and powerful organisations' worst practices.

When reading through the descriptions in the link, you can see many people complaining about the ethics of the Panorama journalists. Impartial Journalists I may add.

But it is pretty predictable, I'd say. The crooks are always going to deny their part in a corrupt scheme. Of course they are. Easy to cloud people's judgement with cries of "fake news" or "false allegations" or "I was joking when I said that".

So when the BBC were due to release a report on the much maligned anti-Islamic activist/extremist Tommy Robinson, i was very interested to hear how he'd have fallen foul of their clandestine ways of reporting.

Surely this would be the end of the, widely reported far-right racist bigot?

One organisation they never looked into was the BBC themselves - no surprise there. Don't sht on your own doorstep et al.


The result of the Robinson investigation was an unexpected one, to say the least.

It resulted in John Sweeney, self-proclaimed "Bad-boy reporter" leaving the BBC after 17 years. And we still haven't seen the programme - entitled Tommy Takedown - aired, even to this day.

One thing that was aired, on the back of the Tommy Takedown investigation by Panorama (but got 0% coverage by any of the mainstream outlets, from what I could see) was a documentary called Panodrama.

Worth a watch if, like me, you have grown up with the BBC as one of the 4 channels on National TV (pre sky of course).

If you care to watch the 1 hour long Panodrama documentary, regardless of your political beliefs, it may shine a different light on the impartial British Broadcasting Corporation that you pay your licence to every year.

I'm interested to hear how many of the politically minded people on this forum have watched Panodrama?
