Just thinking about the current situation and wondering if the answer might be to freshen up the coaching staff.
There are reports that players are tired of the same old regimes and voices, and maybe the answer could be a couple of new coaches to switch up some training drills, and just give a new voice to listen to. There is no doubt that the whole thing feels very stale at the moment.
Fergie always seemed to do this every few years..... and it worked well. The same top man, but keeping that freshness by rotating staff.
I'm Poch in, and i want him to sort this out...... but i think the solution is becoming less and less clear as the days go on.
Freshen up the Coaching Staff?

Lloris, Rose, Toby, Verts, Eriksen - replacements needed
Wanyama, Aurier, Dier, Lamela - upgrades needed
-------------
presumably you are referring to them in their prime... current day toby and jan for example are definitely needing to be upgraded !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
obviously. these are players who could easily move elsewhere and impress. And were incremental to our rise under poch, the main issue is these guys not performing for the team now so we are back to how we were or even worse.

Dealing simply in fact and not fan speculation. If levy wants to sack Poch then he's fully justified given our form in 2019 and our inability to win a big game and deliver a trophy (CL final vs Pool, FA cup semi vs United, LC semi vs Chelsea and chasing leicester down for the league. Whether it's the right move and whether Levy wants to pay the money none of us know but pointing out he's the best manager in a generation when we've won nothing is totally defeatest and typical of Spurs fans who celebrate mediocrity. It's clearly not all his fault and Levy has made it as hard as anyone could imagine for him. He's done a fine job in the circumstances but there are expectations to be met and TODAY he's failing, he will be fall guy whether we like it or not because that's what he's paid to be !

Your thoughts are an absolute mess! You don't even know what you're talking about with your contradictory statements and short term reactionary responses.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can think what you like mate but given where we find ourselves today i think my view on Spurs looks a lot more accurate than some rose tinted view of everything Poch/spurs that's about 12 months outdated. We all enjoyed the CL run but it's gone.... move on
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're just getting emotional and talking nonsense. How is your view more accurate when you're refusing to look into the detail and understand what is fundamentally going wrong and causing this?

Question for me is Poch do when he first joined Spurs that made such a difference? He didn't exactly inherit a great squad and hasn't had money to chuck at top players. He isn't apparently a tactical genius or so it would seem. So what did he bring to the party that turned us into a top 4 side, now in apparent decline? The thing I remember is fitness. About the only thing that springs to mind is the intensity of training. Basically, almost every player could do an Energiser Bunny for 95 minutes twice a week. Now they barely make a first half without looking tired. Perhaps he also developed their self confidence which is now lacking but that is rather subjective. So what else did he bring then that is not there now? Perhaps a coincidence but didn't Paul Mitchell and Ian Broomfield depart about 2 seasons ago? Answers on a postcard...

the reality is that the following are unlikely to be at spurs next season.
----------------------Lloris---------------
--Aurier------Toby----------Dier------------Verts--------
-KWP--------Wanyama-----Eriksen-------Rose------
lots of these are the foundation of our really good poch era
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"were".... living in the past mate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
80% of that lot should have been sold this summer if not before... there's the problem... that's on Levy & Poch
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So Pochettino decided he doesn't want to spend big on quality replacements?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Care to answer? Do you think Pochettino looked at the squad and said I don't want to replace these players with better quality. Please don't spend Mr Levy.

Who? He said Rose wasn't in pre season because he was looking for a move and we failed in selling Wanyama. So that's two player from the list he was happy to go.
And as a manager why would you sanction sales for Toby/ Vert/ Eriksen unless you are going to get equal or better quality in return?
posted on 9/10/19
And he was okay with Trippier going who plenty thought Pochettino was too loyal with so wasnt going to sell KWP or Aurier without an improved replacement

Bad times Chronic and thats with a win against Villa

Andy gray.. long time no see mate... will pop over to the villa board a bit more to say hi.
bad times? spurs are currently the worst team in the division, and have the worst away form of any professional side in the country in 2019 (i think)... so yes, bad times.
