General Motors suspended, and sold off, loads of their overseas operations. I suspect that’s the main reason they’re not renewing, rather than us being crap. We’ll get another sponsor for a similar amount, or even more. Kit sponsors are going up, especially in the premier league. Look at Arsenal, their deal with Fly Emirates is work £40m a year.

VC Pointless sponsoring a global brand if you’re curtailing global operations.
