Right. I think we can all agree that "The Simpsons" have not been the same since they abruptly dropped Apu from the show.
Political correctness in the 21st century is beyond ridiculous
I always enjoyed Apu and I thought he exhibited a positive vibe , he was smart , intelligent and funny and he brought a much needed different cultural perspective to the show.
But the show's creators caved in to growing pressure and dropped the character because , you know , he was apparently offensive to some people and deemed to be a stereotype.
I still watch the show religiously and still love my favourite character , comic book guy , but the Simpsons' decline started with the dropping of the famous Quick -E-Mart owner in my opinion.

People love putting down the new seasons. Whenever I've seen an episode I've enjoyed it. Might not be as good but still funny. People who slag it off I doubt watch any of the new ones.

That’s not true, they maybe a little better than they were a decade ago but it’s not really the Simpsons anymore, they’re nothing like the classic episodes and the characters and writing style has changed so much it’s just pointless that it continues to go on under the same name.
