Conspiracy Theory Time.

A Spurs supporting colleague at work reckons that some of our players are snubbing Harry Kane by not passing to him and not celebrating with him when he scores.

Has anybody else noticed this?

I also hear that he doesn’t really do bantz and is dead serious in training (which is fine)

So my question is, is Harry liked by the other players at the club?

And did he really punch Verts in the face?

In all seriousness, I'd be fascinated to know what Kane would make of that move.

With the greatest respect, United can offer players bigger wages and in theory, I think, have a better chance of success in the long term.

That said, currently its a right royal mess and I'm not sure someone like Kane would take the gamble that it will be sorted out in the near future.

Hey come on guys, no need to be like that.

I mean, be honest, which club would you rather play for?

At the moment? Anyone but United... They're worse than we are, and that's saying something...

Kane will have dreamt about receiving through balls from the likes of Fred and Young - you know it.

No, I really don’t.

That's literally ALL they can offer him though. More money...

... And to be fair, I doubt they can actually afford him. Levy will demand 200m+ . Their squad is on HUGE wages and they've not been in the CL for a while, and don't look to be anywhere near good enough to reach top 4 this year either.

Why would he go anyway?! They've been declining rapidly over the last 4-5 years and are only getting worse.

If he did go, it'd be Real or Barca.

That's a very naive way of looking at it.

United a massive club and whilst the first team looks in disarray at the moment, I'd argue we're far more likely to win the league sooner than Spurs.

It's whether you believe there's a quick enough turnaround coming or not and of course, if Real or Barca are on the table then you'd have to favour those options.

But the idea that players wouldn't move from Spurs to United is nonsense.

Based on what exactly? We've finished above you 4-5 times in the past 6 years.

You're getting worse every year and your squad is bang average. You're years behind Liverpool and City. The best United can hope for in the next 2 years is a top 4 finish, and you'd be lucky to achieve that.

Based on the fact that unless you significantly increase the investment in your squad, I think you've reached your ceiling.

I agree that we have no hope in the next two years and we'll probably finish below Spurs in the that time as well, but that doesn't change my view about who is most likely to win the league next between us.
