Bolton Wanderers v Rochdale

Derby day, Rochdale at home, the only greater Manchester derby of the season and the third meeting of the season between the clubs. Bolton 10 games in, no wins, just 2 goals scored, bottom of the table on -8 and 19 points plus goal difference from safety. An impossible task to stay up? All about getting that first win. Its been round the corner, on the horizon and today according to Adam chicksen it's not far away. A tough game against a Rochdale side that beat Bolton 5-2 in the league cup and a 1-1 draw in the efl trophy who will be looking to build on a steady but unspectacular start sat 19th 5 points above the relegation zone. Team news. The injuries are piling up. Bridcutt and Buckley added to the list out until December. Bunney out until new year, also out Edwards, brockbank, alnwick returns unknown. As darcy and Wright are in the fanzone I'm presuming they are also injured. A but of good news, o'Grady is back training and earl and hall played for the u23s on Monday night. Changes. Expect only Graham for bridcutt and dodoo his first start probably for politic. Unless there are any other injuries Keith hill isn't telling us about I expect the starting 11. Matthews. Emmanuel, Hobbs, zouma, chicksen. Graham, Lowe, Crawford. Dodoo Murphy, Verlinden. A touch of normality returns to the unibol today as the fanzone back open so we can all sit for 2 hours nursing our half a lager whilst tucking in to a carrs pasty if there are any left. Don't be late as it shuts at 2. Also the first Saturday game with season tickets and regular seats. Back in the old routine.

Thought we were decent right up until we scored then we suddenly stopped. Taking Graham off for Murphy was a bit of an error I thought. T'other Murphy didn't exactly cover himself in glory either.

Kind of worrying that it's been mentioned that we are still 4 games off getting up to speed still. Then again we've pretty much written off the season as a bad job anyway by now.

Graham was injured. Some good kids there but none really ready apart from politic who is being played out of position on the right wing. Get through this season and Rio it up and start again. Bookmark this but I'd be surprised if more than 3 of this line up will be playing for bolton this time next year.

David Flitcroft gets in early with his quote of the day contender “We’ll have a body count,” as the sick list is revealed to have grown again.
