I always thought Nugent was $hit by the way! Maybe he was OK at Portsmouth?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
LOL, he was a good player, just got left behind as we improved, Great in the Championship Year and did ok in the Premier League, who can forget that goal against Liverpool.

Chris Wood - ha!

No better than Ulloa and we saw fit to let him leave. No thanks. Wilson a much better option.

Very good win against a very well drilled and organised Burnley team. Rode our luck at times but 3 points is all that matters.

I did not want Ulloa to leave as he just gave us a different option upfront. He scored that West Ham penno with ice in his vains! When he first signed for us he scored 5 goals in his first 7 games?

You'll notice I didn't actually say Chris Woods but a 'Chris Woods' but also, Ulloa is now 33, Woods is 29 so Ulloa was 30 when we won the League.

Regardless, Chris Woods is lead striker for another decent Prem side. He wouldn’t want to move here to sit on the bench. Even Leonardo Ulloas got fed up with that. Same with whoever suggested Callum Wilsons. At least with Ayoze Perezes we can fit him in elsewhere.

If BS was not in his cave he would say utter tosh DM!

Where was RM in the Man City line up today?

How many starts has Bale had?

When you look at Man City's bench, AKA strength in depth tells the story....

We lose Vardy and then what?

We bring on our seasoned Captain to close out the game today.

I am sure BR has a plan but DM someone has to sit on the bench..... Just ask Clemence and Shilton for England back in the day!

I’m yet to see where Perezes fits if he’s not a number 10 or 9. And he ain’t playing there above Vardy, Maddison and Tielemans!

He’s been hopeless for me when played wide. Pretty much like Maddison has been when asked the same.

Wilsons for me would be an excellent signing. Genuine rotation with Vardy rather than relying on him all game every game. And he’s not getting any younger as we keep discussing.

How great a servant has Vardy been to our club. He is such an amazing striker.
