Özil would have been completely useless today in the same way Ceballos was.

You can't be a playmaker in a squad where everyone is playing at walking pace.

No off-the-ball movement. No overlapping runs. No movement into space. Nothing.

Just get the ball, pass it 5-yards, and your job's done.

Every single player looked like he still had 90 more minutes in the tank when the final whistle went.

Yup, good observations. I also noticed this. I bet the Sheffield team couldn't believe they had it so easy.
